PE & PTFE Series Pumps
Description
Tapflo pumps made of polyethylene (PE) or PTFE can handle almost all types of liquids, including high-viscosity, chemically aggressive liquids, and those with solid particles.
Polyethylene (PE) Pumps
Polyethylene (PE HD) offers high abrasion resistance—6 to 7 times greater than polypropylene (PP). This makes these pumps ideal for transferring highly abrasive slurries. Polyethylene is resistant to most chemically aggressive fluids, including strong acids and alkalis. Maximum fluid temperature: +70°C.
PTFE Pumps
PTFE (pure polytetrafluoroethylene) is a thermoplastic polymer with exceptional chemical resistance. Pumps made from this material can handle even more aggressive substances than PE pumps, such as concentrated nitric acid. Maximum fluid temperature: up to +100°C.
